Lexus body structures incorporate both current and anticipated crash test standards for North America, Japan and Europe. As a result, Lexus boasts one of the strictest crash test criteria standards in the industry - Global Outstanding Assessment (GOA).
As an example, in offset front-end collision tests, the accepted European standard is 56 km/h. To push our vehicles further, all Lexus models are tested at 60 km/h which produces 15 percent more impact energy.
