Available Heads-Up Display (HUD)

The innovative Heads-Up Display (HUD) projects real-time driving information conveniently on the lower windshield. HUD lets you clearly see your speed, audio settings and turn-by-turn navigation, so you don't have to take your eyes off the road. A specially designed viewing panel lets you adjust the HUD windshield projection to your preferred height. (HUD is available with Ultra Premium Package)

In-Dash LCD Screen

The In-Dash LCD Screen includes a multi-display control that manages climate and audio operations. It can be managed using the available Remote Touch navigation control mounted on the centre console and the steering wheel mounted multi-information switch. Available Voice-Activated HDD Navigation with Remote Touch

The advanced, voice-activated Hard Disk Drive (HDD) navigation system features standard voice recognition and an all-new intuitive and ergonomic Remote Touch controller. (Voice-Activated HDD Navigation and Remote Touch are available with Touring and Ultra Premium Packages)

Available Remote Touch

Positioned where your right hand rests on the centre console, Remote Touch is as natural as using as a computer mouse. Remote Touch puts many of the RX's most used feature settings right at your fingertips and displays the information on the in-dash LCD screen. The system can be customized to your desired level of haptic feedback. (Remote Touch is available with Touring and Ultra Premium Packages)

Available VoiceBox - Natural Speech Recognition

The HDD navigation system is available with VoiceBox, which takes voice recognition a step further. VoiceBox is designed to respond to simple commands in natural everyday speech, allowing you to control several interior functions, such as audio, without taking your hands off the wheel. (VoiceBox is available with the Touring and Ultra Premium Packages)

Heated & Ventilated Leather Front Seats

The driver and front passenger seats feature perforated leather surfaces that allow warm or cool airflow for optimum comfort in all seasons. The driver's seat includes a 3-way memory system.

8-way Power Adjustable Front Seats

Both the driver and front passenger seat have eight power-adjustable settings for tailored positioning and comfort.

Advanced Safety - 10 Standard Airbags

The RX 450h is equipped with a class-leading 10 airbags to provide added protection for the driver and front and rear passengers.

Airbags include:

• Driver and front passenger dual-stage front SRS airbags
• Driver and front passenger seat mounted side airbags
• Driver and front passenger knee airbags
• Rear outboard seat side airbags
• Front and rear roll sensing side curtain airbags

The front-impact Supplemental Restraint System features driver and front passenger dual-stage airbags. The airbags adapt automatically to impact severity and driver seat position to provide better protection. Seat mounted front and rear seat side airbags provide additional protection for the driver, front passenger and rear outboard passengers. To protect the body and head of front and rear outboard occupants from a side impact, the RX 450h's roll sensing side curtain airbags deploy from the front pillar and above the doors.

The standard Occupant Classification System on the front passenger seat determines the weight of the occupant. If the occupant, such as a child, weighs less than 31 kg. the system prohibits the deployment of the SRS airbag to prevent an airbag injury.

Supplemental Restraint System airbags are passive occupant-protection devices that supplement, but do not replace, the three-point seat belt system.

Roll Sensing Curtain Airbags (RSCA) - Safety Feature

Roll Sensing Curtain Airbags (RSCA) help protect the heads of front and second row occupants in the event of a roll over.

Roll Sensing Curtain Airbags (RSCA) will deploy the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) curtain airbags ensuring excellent occupant restraint performance. In the case of a severe vehicle rollover the RSCA function will also activate the seatbelt pretensioners on both sides, to help protect the passengers from injury.

Auto-Dimming Rear View Mirror with Backup Camera

The rear view mirror is connected to a digital video camera mounted on the back of the RX 450h. When the shift lever is in reverse, the rear view is displayed on a 2.4-inch screen on the mirror, or on the in-dash LCD screen if equipped with navigation. The mirror also has an integrated digital compass.

Lexus Premium Audio

The standard Lexus premium audio system features AM/FM, integrated XM^® satellite radio, in-dash 6-Disc CD changer, 9 speakers, automatic sound leveler, Bluetooth and MP3 capability, steering wheel mounted audio controls and roof mounted fin antenna.

Available Mark Levinson Surround Sound Audio

The Ultra Premium Mark Levinson Surround Sound Audio System delivers unsurpassed clarity and power. Designed specifically for the RX, the 15-speaker system fills the cabin with the most perfectly balanced, luxurious sound available in automotive audio technology. The system includes 7.1 Channel Surround Sound Speaker Architecture, AM/FM radio, an in-dash 6-disc CD/DVD changer, USB connector, iPod^®/MP3/WMA™ adapter and XM^® satellite radio and Bluetooth^® capability. (Available with Ultra Premium Package)

Available Dual Screen Rear Seat DVD System

An integrated rear seat DVD entertainment system features two separate 7-inch screens and separate audio controls. The DVD player can be operated via the front seat touch panel or from the rear seat by remote control or the switch on the unit. (Available with Ultra Premium Package)

The front and rear seat occupants can enjoy different audio-visual modes at the same time. The rear seat entertainment system can play video and audio DVDs and CDs. The system features two thin-profile 7-inch wide LCD displays integrated into the front seat headrests. (Available with Ultra Premium Package)

Sliding Rear Seats

The 60/40 split rear seats fold and slide for added convenience and generous cargo space. A remote seatback release is handily located in the cargo area.

Integrated Garage Door Opener

Programmed to work with the owners garage door or security gates.

Certain vehicle models come with HomeLink®, a universal transceiver, to operate compatible remote systems: from the security gates at work to your garage door at home. Rolling code changes the transmitter code each time the garage door opener is pressed.

A dash warning light is automatically turned on if the wheel speed sensors detect low tire pressure.
