The Lexus High Performance Driving Program is designed to immerse you in the art of high performance driving, and help you discover the full performance capabilities of your Lexus – all under the guidance of our expert driving professionals. Your safety and comfort are our number one priority as we have designed all of our activities to ensure that you feel safe at all times.

Training Schedule

Each session is a full day of deep insight and pure exhilaration. It starts in the classroom with an in-depth look at vehicle dynamics, advanced driving techniques, track safety and driving etiquette. Then it is off to the track to put theory into practice, honing your skid control and cornering skills, and learning to execute a high speed lane change, before ending with a thrilling lap session coached by a pro-driver in the passenger seat.

  • What would the day’s itinerary look like?

    The day begins with breakfast before kicking off with a 15 minute introduction to the program, followed by 2 ½ hours of on the following track exercises, introduction to cornering, skid control, high speed land change, and slalom. After breaking for lunch, participants are briefed on the afternoon session and begin lapping exercises for the remainder of the day.

  • Who are the instructors?

    All instructors are qualified professional performance drivers with most having hands-on racing experience.

  • Do I need to do anything with my vehicle beforehand?

    Before arriving at your High Performance Driving Program session, it is important to ensure that your Lexus is in safe working condition. It is recommended to have vehicle components such as brakes, tires and fluids checked at your local Lexus dealership.
    On the day of the event, please arrive with a full tank of fuel in your Lexus, and remove all loose items in your car that can potentially roll around and become a hazard.

  • What driving skills are taught?

    There are a variety of skills taught and experienced in the summer program. These include slalom, high speed lane changes, skid control, and cornering dynamics. Drivers also get to experience lapping sessions with the instructors themselves. All participants are educated on proper performance driving seating, vision, steering and braking.

  • What should I bring with me on the day of the event?

    On the day of your scheduled event, please ensure you come to the track with a valid driver’s license and, if you wish, a helmet. Depending on the season, the recommended attire will differ. In the summer, it is recommended that you wear comfortable loose clothing, sunglasses and proper footwear (e.g. tennis shoes). Please avoid wearing heavy, bulky boots for the driving sessions, as such footwear may restrain your movement.

  • Will I be able to bring a guest with me?

    Each participant is welcome to bring 1 Guest, provided they are 18 years of age or older. Please indicate your intention to bring a Guest on the registration form.

  • Will I be able to take photos or video of my experience?

    By all means. In fact, mention Lexus Canada with @LexusCanada or #LexusCanada on social media for a chance to be featured on a national scale.
