Simply Convenient

Remote Connect lets you control a range of vehicle functions from a distance using your smartphone and the Lexus App -- from locking and unlocking the doors, to changing your climate settings, to monitoring a Guest driver, to allowing others access to your vehicle with Digital Key on compatible vehicles. And it’s free for the first three years of ownership.

Door Lock / Unlock

Lock and unlock vehicle doors from a distance to ease your way in, and ease your mind if you can’t remember if you locked them.

Engine Start / Stop

Remote Connect lets you start and stop your engine from a distance. It’s comfort and convenience all rolled into one.

Climate Control

You can preset the desired interior temperature, operate defrosters, heated steering wheel and seats remotely.

Lock/Unlock Trunk or Tailgate

Remote Connect *

Plug-in Hybrids

Plug-in Hybrid owners are able to schedule Climate Control pre-conditioning (without the need to start the engine), use the Charge Management function and find a charging station using the app.

Climate Control Schedule

You can preset the desired interior temperature, operate defrosters, heat the steering wheel or heat seats remotely. You can also set a schedule for your vehicle to cool down or heat up at a certain time.

Charge Management

The Charge Management tile provides you with your battery charge status and allows a preset charging schedule, which may be helpful to take advantage of the off-peak electricity rates.

Door Lock / Unlock

Lock and unlock vehicle doors from a distance to ease your way in, and ease your mind if you can’t remember if you locked them.

Lock/Unlock Trunk or Tailgate

Intelligent Assistant

Intelligent Assistant features natural language processing and can be activated with a “Hey Lexus” wake word. You can use voice commands to quickly find a top-rated local place, check weather at your destination or dictate a free-form text message, and more.

Natural Language Processing

Intelligent Assistant can recognize natural language voice commands to understand requests like “What’s the weather like in Montreal?” or “Find a French restaurant near me rated at least 4 stars”.

Cloud Navigation

The new Cloud Navigation system uses Google POI data and provides real-time traffic information, turn-by-turn guidance, over-the-air updates and head-up display integration. The system works with the Intelligent Assistant and can be activated with the “Hey Lexus” wake word.

Intelligent Assistant Integration

You can access your vehicle’s Recall notices, Service Campaign information, request to receive vehicle health reports and more.

Warning Lights

If a warning light appears on your dashboard, you will automatically be sent a notification in your Lexus App, on your vehicle’s touch screen display and in your next vehicle health report.

Service Connect Communication

You may opt to provide your preferred servicing dealer with your vehicle health and maintenance alerts, which would allow the dealer to communicate with you directly should a service need for your vehicle arise (for example, a recall or a warning light).

You can use your smart device to unlock/lock your vehicle and drive away without taking it out of your pocket – simply grab the door handle as you would with a smart key fob, press your foot on the brake pedal and hit the Start button. You can also share and manage the Digital Key via Lexus App to grant access to your vehicle to family and friends.
