Lexus Masterclass takes top editorial and media personalities on an exploration of Lexus’ core values -- brought to life by artisans who put their own stamp on brave design, innovative technology, Omotenashi hospitality, Takumi craftsmanship, and exhilarating performance.

THE TORONTO JOURNEY

Hotel Le Germain - Maple Leaf Square

After spending a night at Hotel Le Germain, the students were treated to a breakfast with delicacies like made-to-order crepes and handcrafted quiche. The experience was a testimony to Omotenashi, the Japanese art of hospitality.

Triarchy Denim & Triarchy Atelier

While the average pair of jeans requires 73 litres of water, Ania Taubenfligel and her brother Adam - owners of Triarchy Denim, employ methods that use 85% less than that. They champion bold creativity and environmentally best practices, mimicking the philosophies that have made Lexus a leader in imaginative technology and brave design.

Through different creations, Afrim Pristine, the Maitre Fromager (Cheese Master), provided a deliciously tantalizing experience that was reminiscent of Lexus’ exhilarating performance.

Spirit of York - Mixology Session

Students called Simon Ho - a master mixologist - the “Takumi” of mixing. Simon’s group distill spirits to perfection by using world-class technology. The same can be said of Lexus IS designers, who embody Takumi craftsmanship with precision, passion, and a perfectly constructed origami cat.

Café Cancan

Oysters, champagne, a four-course meal, and character that reminds one of Paris, France. That’s Café Cancan. It’s an exemplary bistro in Toronto when it comes to displaying Omotenashi. The day concluded with mouth-watering duck, white asparagus with morels, and homemade ice cream.
